Modern refrigerators generally make use of the cooling effect produced when a volatile liquid is forced to evaporate in a sealed system in which it can be condensed back to liquid outside the refrigerator

  • white goods in which food can be stored at low temperatures

  • A refrigerator is a cooling apparatus. The common household appliance (often called a "fridge" for short) comprises a thermally insulated compartment and a heat pump—chemical or mechanical means—to transfer heat from it to the external environment (i.e.

The 2011 Import and Export Market for Windshield Wipers, Defrosters and Demisters for Cycles, and Electrical Lighting and Signaling Equipment Excluding Filament and Discharge or Arc Lamps in Oceana

The 2011 Import and Export Market for Windshield Wipers, Defrosters and Demisters for Cycles, and Electrical Lighting and Signaling Equipment Excluding Filament and Discharge or Arc Lamps in Oceana

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners approaching the market in Oceana face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying windshield wipers, defrosters and demisters for cycles, and electrical lighting and signaling equipment excluding filament and discharge or arc lamps to Oceana? What is the dollar value of these imports? How much do the imports of windshield wipers, defrosters and demisters for cycles, and electrical lighting and signaling equipment excluding filament and discharge or arc lamps vary from one country to another in Oceana? Do exporters serving the market in Oceana have similar market shares across the importing countries? On the supply side, Oceana also sells to the international market of windshield wipers, defrosters and demisters for cycles, and electrical lighting and signaling equipment excluding filament and discharge or arc lamps. Which countries in Oceana supply the most exports of windshield wipers, defrosters and demisters for cycles, and electrical lighting and signaling equipment excluding filament and discharge or arc lamps? Which countries are buying their exports? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for windshield wipers, defrosters and demisters for cycles, and electrical lighting and signaling equipment excluding filament and discharge or arc lamps in Oceana. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics that appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for windshield wipers, defrosters and demisters for cycles, and electrical lighting and signaling equipment excluding filament and discharge or arc lamps for those

-From his a series of fictional, top secret military installations derived from Cold War industrial design.

"...To create these Cold War structures, suitable source materials — such refrigerators and lawn mowers — are completely dismantled and photographed, then, by digital means, meticulously reassembled into original structures. This technique is a continuation of the process used in my previous two bodies of work; those being residential and industrial structures, respectively.
The most dramatic evolution from my previous work is the process for creating the landscape of each structure. For this new series great effort has been taken to photograph landscapes throughout North America that have a direct connection to the narrative of the series. I've traveled from one of the epicenters of Cold War activity, Los Alamos and the state of New Mexico, to more regional locales, such as Prince Edward County, home to many Avro Arrow tests, and abandoned Pine Tree and D.E.W radar bases in Central and Northern Ontario. Each location was thoroughly documented, allowing the fictional bases to be situated in the real landscape of the North American Cold War experience."

• the landscape was shot at The Frink Center, a large wetland area just north of my hometown, Belleville Ontario
• during the winter its my favorite place to skate. There's acers of ice with paths all through the bullrushes.

Right About Where I Realized I Didn't Know Where The Flood Ended And The Lake Began

The blower on my car broke so I had no defroster or heat or fan and I'm trying to figure out where the lake is in relation to where I am right now.

Windshield wipers were working fine, as you can see!

Floods. They're only cool until you know there's a lake under there somewhere!
